NAI RENOVATION
Due to a renovation, the NAI building by architect Jo Coenen is currently almost entirely closed off to the public. The entrance area will be given a complete overhaul. NAI SHOWROOM 2010
The NAI collection consists of a couple of million drawings, sketches, floor plans, photographs, letters and other documents, and more and more pieces are being digitised. Throughout the year, a special item from the collection was displayed for a week. View all of them in the showroom or at Facebook.

The Centre Pompidou in Paris opened a large-scale exhibition on De Stijl and Piet Mondriaan. The NAI has loaned more than 100 items from the archives of architects such as Theo van Doesburg, Cornelis van Eesteren, J.J.P. Oud, P.J.C. Klaarhamer, Jan Wils and J.M.L. Lauweriks. > Read more... |

RIETVELDS UNIVERSE
Exhibition, Centraal Museum Utrecht, October 20, 2010 - January 30, 2011
This exhibition is realized in collaboration with the NAI and still can be visited until January 30th in the Centraal Museum in Utrecht. Rietveld's Universe points out that Utrecht architect and designer Gerrit Th. Rietveld (1888-1964) designed much more than only the classic red-blue chair.
