NAI RENOVATION
The NAI building by architect Jo Coenen is currently almost entirely closed off to the public. The entrance area will be given a complete overhaul. NAI is looking forward to reopening this summer with a deluxe bookshop, a pleasant café-restaurant, and far more space for the educational programmes.

Furniture and interior design

FURNITURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN
In the period between 1925 and 1935, a collection of photographs was built up to draw attention to the cream of the crop of Dutch architecture. The collection was used in countless exhibitions, including the World Fairs in Paris in 1925 and Brussels in 1935. The photographs of the Council were intended to paint an ideal picture: they emphasise the artistic and aesthetic manifestations of architecture.

ARCHITECTURE OF CONSEQUENCE IN MUMBAI
After Saõ Paulo, Moskow, Rotterdam and Nijmegen is it now up to Mumbai. The exhibition Architecture of Consequence travels to India and will be displayed from February 10 till March 31 in Studio-X Mumbai.

DE STIJL AND MONDRIAN IN CENTRE POMPIDOU
Visiting Paris? Take the opportunity to visit Centre Pompidou's large-scale exhibition on De Stijl and Piet Mondriaan. The Netherlands Architecture Institute has loaned more than 100 items for this exhibition from the archives of architects such as Theo van Doesburg, Cornelis van Eesteren, J.J.P. Oud, P.J.C. Klaarhamer, Jan Wils and J.M.L. Lauweriks.
