REOPENING NAi GRAND SUCCES
With a spectacular act the Netherlands Architecture Institute was reopened together with the audience on Thursday, June 30 2011. The renewed Museum for Architecture demonstrates that architecture is closer than you think. To celebrate its opening the NAI had free entrance the opening weekend. Almost 2000 visitors found the NAI this weekend.

SIXTH JAAP BAKEMA FELLOWSHIP OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
The Netherlands Architecture Institute and the A10 new European architecturemagazine are launching the Bakema Fellowship 2011/2012. This fellowship is a grant of €10,000 for research (through design) at the cutting-edge of architecture, technology and society. The deadline for applications is 16 October 2011.

In a remarkable approach to architecture, Dutchville is an exhibition that intentionally inspires conflicting feelings. Come and see for yourself from July 1st – the Hands-on Deck at the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) is a unique spot at the heart of the museum, specially designed for anyone wanting to try their hand at architecture.
